The market of many markets.
That describes a network comprising the wholesale market hall, four permanent food markets, one wholesale flower market, a gardening hall, 41 street and farmers’ markets and the abattoir; for over a century they have combined to guarantee supplies of fresh, top-quality food and flowers to some 5 million people in the region and brokered the export of produce throughout Europe.
Thanks to continuous investment, Munich market halls are both modern and conscious of their traditions.
